Our CEO, Shaunak Amin talks all things Series A funding in the recent podcasts: Tank Talk and SnackBreak.
SnackMagic’s CEO and co-founder, Shaunak Amin sat down with Matt Cohen of Ripple Ventures Fund (a venture fund that works alongside startups) and Greg Travers from SnackMagic’s own podcast, SnackBreak, to talk about how our company pivoting over the past year. Switching gears from being a meal delivery service to offices, to delivering snack boxes to remote workers was a pivot no one saw coming, but in just under 8 months, we went from $0-20MM in ARR. More recently, our build-your-own snack box service raised $15 million in a Series A round of funding led by Craft Ventures and Luxor Capital LLC. All that hard work has finally paid off!
“There’s a lot of stories around how the pandemic has changed and shifted business, our guest today Shaunak Amin is one of the biggest success stories. His startup Stadium was able to quickly pivot and grow a new business SnackMagic entirely during the lockdown and now is at $20M ARR.” (Source: Tank Talks)

In EP2 of our podcast, SnackBreak Amin discusses his fundraising tactics and lessons learned from his team’s experience raising $15 Million in Series A.
In this conversation, Amin and Travers focus on the growth of virtual gift giving, scaling to an international marketplace, and the importance of taking on capital as a form of accelerated learning.
